When Brooks Herring steps on stage, the room shifts, because you don’t just hear his music, you feel it. A Nashville based country artist with Southern roots, Brooks delivers dynamic acoustic performances and high energy full band shows that leave a lasting impact.

Born in Louisiana, raised in Conway, South Carolina, and now based in Nashville, Brooks Herring is an award-winning songwriter, recording artist, and U.S. Navy veteran whose journey defines resilience. His unmistakable blend of country, alt-rock, and blues sits at the crossroads of grit and vulnerability, where every lyric carries weight and every note tells the truth.

His breakout single, “Why Me,” introduced listeners to his emotionally raw storytelling. In 2024, his album Not Country proved he’s unafraid to blur genre lines, expanding his sound while staying rooted in authentic Southern songwriting. With his 2025 release “How to Fix a Broken Heart,” Brooks pushed even further - offering a hopeful, deeply personal anthem that continues to resonate with fans nationwide.

Backed by a tight-knit, high caliber band, Brooks delivers one of the most engaging live performances on the circuit. Whether commanding festival stages or creating intimacy in smaller venues, the chemistry, precision, and energy of his live show set him apart in today’s country live music scene.

Offstage, Brooks brings the same purpose and discipline to his craft. Holding a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of South Carolina and a Bachelor’s in Songwriting from Belmont University, he approaches music with both technical mastery and emotional intelligence. A proud advocate for veterans navigating combat related trauma, Brooks dedicates time to nonprofit causes and mentoring emerging songwriters, using his platform to create impact beyond music.

At its core, Brooks Herring’s music is about connection - stories of resilience, healing, and truth told through a voice shaped by service, small town roots, and relentless dedication to the craft.
